			May 31 2004		Memorial Day Parade Salute our Veterans and all other uniformed people on this special Parade and cheer for different local youth groups as well as marching bands as they make their way down Main Street towards Potter Memorial.
			June 4 - 6 2004		Canal Days Another great arts & crafts festival in Fairport with hundreds of artisans and food vendors, live music and over 250,000 visitors. There was something for everybody, from hand crafted jewelery to original in- and outdoor decorations.
			June 8 2004		Tuesday Car Cruz Nites This popular summer event was kicked off on a hot Tuesday evening with over 100 cars, hundreds of spectators, live music and food in the Box Factory Parking Lot. Participants who register their cars receive a commemorative dashboard plaque and various discounts for the whole Cruz Nite season.
			June 21 2004		Brass Brakes & Fingerlakes   With 30 miles per hour the National Tour of the "Horseless Carriage Club of America" came into Fairport with their shiny pre-1916 automobiles to enjoy lunch and a ride on the Erie Canal.
			July 29 2004		Art Walk   Local merchants in the Fairport business district hosted their first Art Walk with a number of artists from around the community displaying their artwork. It was a great opportunity to get to know local artists and their work and shop at our many specialty stores.
					Elvis Night   On Aug. 14th Saturday night at Donnely's Public House there was a Fundraiser event for "Safe Journey" featuring the International Elvis Impersonator Marcus Wells.

			September 25		Niagara Prince Cruise   Again this year the Village of Fairport is pleased to welcome the Niagara Prince, a 174' cruise ship that is docking two days and two nights in September.

		Fairport Canal Corridor Design Workshop   Students from from the Alfred State College revisit the work completed during fall of 2000's Fairport Charrette and refocuses the discussions on several sites along the Erie Canal. Students will create a master plan of the Fairport Canal will use their ideas generated during this workshop.
		Come Home for the Holidays * Celebration of Trees * Brighten Your Spirits   If you're looking for that old-fashioned holiday feeling... it takes a Village and Fairport is the place to find it on Thursday nights this December. Hundreds of decorated trees and luminaries will light your way. Shops and restaurants will lead the fun. Horse drawn rides, music and carolers will make it all festive season in the heart of the Village.
